Jose Bautista is CLEAN....Sorry Colin Cowherd

Not sure I see the body difference either Jose

Jose Bautista is clean! Yes, I am believing him in this post steroid era. I understand that every time a player hits over 50 home runs he will be questioned, but dig this if you will. Is it totally illogical to think that a player in his 20s, that played for the widely popular Pirates (and not of the Caribbean variety) could possibly struggle in that lineup? What if I told you he had a stretch Pre 2010 where he homered 5 times in 9 games? Or he hit home runs in 4 straight games, had it snapped in the 5th game then led off the 6th game with a homer? Yes this is all true, well except for the Pirates being remotely closed to being called popular! (The Pittsburgh variety)

Listening to Cowherd, who I actually like, I disagree with almost all of his points he makes on Bautista. His first point is that there has been a 2 year decline in home runs....OK, well does that mean its going to continue to decline? Eventually Colin, there is going to be a increase in home runs pal. He also goes on to say he might buy it had Bautista did this in the NL Central opposed to the AL East. Well, the AL East Division Team ERA is 4.21 compared to the NL Central which is 4.30. Not buying that either, Cowherd. The only thing you should be buying is a Stat guy to provide you with some relevant information. He even goes so far as saying fluke seasons never happen in other sports such as the NFL or NBA. Hmm Roy Williams? Daunte Culpepper, Doug Williams (Redskins qb won the Superbowl) I could go on all day. How about the NBA? Hedo Turkoglu, Juan Howard anyone? Heres the real kicker out of it all, he even downplays the fact that Bautista has already PASSED  two PED tests issued to him saying "So did Barry Bonds" and "Cycling." He forgot one key thing, the tests are issued randomly. So even if he was Cycling he wouldn't be able to dodge when the tests were given. His HGH/Steroid theory that it will turn any guy into a 50 home run hitter is absolutely ridiculous as well. As you can see down below, the great Arnold by this logic should of been a Home Run hitter for your New York Yankees. It's called Hand Eye Coordination Colin.

Hey Arnold, based on Cowherds logic you should of played Baseball

Jose Bautista, you don't owe anyone an explanation. You passed your randomly issued tests given to you. Just go out there and keep smacking the ball out of the yard. There's a part of all of us that has that "been down this road before" mentality, but why not make the time now to start believing in America's great pastime again?
